I'm developing a custom chat client for Sametime, using only the JS stproxy library (not the UI).
I want to send a plain text chat message to the other party which may be using any ST client (standalone, web, or even my own one). But the problem is that I see no option for specifying that the message sent is in plain text.
I see 'isRichText' property in the ChatModel and also in the parameters of the "stproxy.chat.onChatData" but in all these cases it seems to be a getter only. Even if I use 2 client instances developed by me the stproxy server always sends 'isRichText' == true.
I can work around by using at the sender only richtext and escaping the special symbols (needed in the case when the users are sending HTML source code) but it is not a good design approach also it will waste resources for always parsing the text in order to HTML escape it. (while using text area and simply specifying that it is plain text is the right thing to do)
Is this a bug in the stproxy library, or there is some way to set it to false?
