Installing a plugin into Sametime 8.5.2 Standard Client causes the client to hang after (first) restart. After shutdown (kill) of the Sametime process and restarting the client everything works fine.
I investigated that com.ibm.colloberation.realtime.filetransfer timed out:
While loading class "com.ibm.collaboration.realtime.filetransfer.SendFileBuddyListAction",
thread "Thread[Worker-4,5,main]" timed out waiting (5062ms) for thread "Thread[Worker-2,5,main]"
to finish starting bundle "update@../../shared/eclipse/plugins/com.ibm.collaboration.realtime.filetransfer_8.5.2.20110516-1528.jar [433]".
To avoid deadlock, thread "Thread[Worker-4,5,main]" is proceeding but
"com.ibm.collaboration.realtime.filetransfer.SendFileBuddyListAction" may not be fully initialized.
