We hired an IBM Partner to install Sametime 8.5.2 IFR 1 on two windows 2008 R2 Standard "Nodes" or Virtual Machines:
Node 1 is hosting Domino 8.5.2 FP4, Sametime Community Server + DB2
Node 2 hosting everything else, ST Console, ST Proxy Server, ST Media Server, ST Meeting Server,
After getting IBM involved to help with several port conflicts we are still unable to launch an "Invite to Instant Meeting Room" with Audio and Video enabled, we get this error "No Packet Switcher with Sufficient Capacity available for conference"? So, the IBM partner opened a ticket with IBM and (a few actually) and after many phone calls, and many hours of debugging, collecting logs, still no joy, same error.
My question is, has anyone actually been able to get Sametime 8.5.2 IFR1 running on two windows nodes ? I mean not just chat, but ALL features such as Audio and Video in a meeting room? In this new envrionment, sure the usual Sametime Chat features work, Call, and even Video call all work one on one, but not in a meeting room? We typically use 8.5.2 or higher Notes clients with Embedded Sametime clients. We have also tried the stand alone Sametime Connect clients with the same result, same error.
IBM is now talking about a complete re-install, but using 3 to 6 nodes? Any comments, suggestions, thoughts would be greatly appreciated?
