We are currently switching our Sametime 7.5.1 environment from Domino to LDAP.
Our users currently see their Contact list in the cn=/ou=/o= format, however following the conversion to LDAP names will only be added/displayed in the cn= format..
I realize there is a setting in the View menu of Connect clients to set to only show 'Short Names', however my question is - is there a way to set this or convert all existing entries to 'Short Name' centrally and remove the task from the end users?
Additionally, is there a way to set the show 'Short Names' from within the integrated Notes 7.5/8 client as I cant find a menu with this option?
