RE: Autojoin Meeting Room Ben Williams 22.Feb.16 10:41 AM Lotus Notes Online Meeting Center/Meeting Room 9.0Windows
The Connect client could be installed so you didn't need to use a Notes client with embedded Sametime and that only supports SPNEGO so unless you use AD as an LDAP source then that won't work. If you use Domino for LDAP then you would need a Notes client with Domino authentication to sign in without a password but you'd need to use a Notes ID configured already, maybe a generic account. Either of these would sort out the automatic log in to Sametime as long as you have a script that automatically starts either client.
The end result is that the client is signed into Sametime. I do not know of a way to start a meeting automatically. I am sure that whoever is using the room would want to use a meeting room specific for them. If not, then there's a high chance that the generic meeting room will have privileges set incorrectly, old data in there, maybe it is even being used by someone else at the time. If users can use their own meeting rooms then they could, before hand, populate the room with the data they want to share and the access they want others to have.
