I noticed that whenever I'm regularly logged in Sametime through my desktop client and a web page that sports STLinks anytime someone begins a conversation with me the web window chat takes the precedence over the regular desktop version.
Having the interlocutor begin it with the Sametime desktop or through a web link doesn't change that. If I'm logged on the web page, I have to continue the conversation via the web popup instead of using the regular client version.
