Carl is (as always) right. The new meeting servers require a centralised approach or you must have different servers based on different server host/cluster names such as EMEA, ASIA etc and the users manually decide where to host the meeting from based on locale for example.
I'm not really sure what the bandwidth consumption is when you are performing screen sharing and/or sharing documents over the internet or WAN to a centralised server. You could test this on the IBM public facing meeting servers or your own as you can check out the network stats for the meeting when it's being hosted.
The only concern is when you add audio and video in to the mix, this is where it gets tricky with networks.
