Hi all, I'm not certain this is really the best forum for this but....

My environment for domino/sametime is contains several Domino domains in different locations. Each location is running one or more community servers. Some of the communities have meeting servers and some don't. Some of the communities are connected for presence/chat and some are not. We (I) are currently working to at least get all the communities connected for presence/chat. But I am a little hazy on how the meeting room server connections work.

In the pre-8.5 days, users would connect to their 'home' server and the two meeting servers would connect to each other (via connection doc type=sametime) and the meeting would....'happen'.

For ST9, 'classic' meetings are gone. We have the meeting servers but I'm a little unclear on how they connect to each other, clients connect to them, etc....

Also, I am rather in the dark about the nuances introduced by some communities having/not having meeting room servers.

I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to RTFM the heck out of this but all the "M" i could locate seems to be on a more surface level.

If someone could either clue me in or point me to somewhere I'd be grateful.

Thanks much,

Sauron
