I have looked through here and on the doc on the SDK and just got more confused. Sure it is me..... :o).
I have a list of notification documents telling me user(s) to send ST notifiications (IM/Announcments) to and when and the content with a link.
I keep thinking I need to create a Java agent to do all do the actual notification piece. I figured I could have a lotus script piece to handle the document management both front end and back end. Once I actually have a document to send a notification from I could send it (or data from it) to a Java agent and then an IM or Announcement would popup on users screens (if they are logged in).
I am having difficulty getting started as I am seeing bots, plug ins etc. But I kept figuring just a Java agent is all I need.
Any guidance or pointers in the right direction would be very much appreciated.
