All that you need is a valid phone number (there are country access limitations, but assuming in the US here) to use audiocasting. If you want to just dial your land-line or your cell phone, then you can simply do that without entering in a bridge access code.
If you want to have a larger-scaled conference, then all you would need is a valid bridge number (likely with a corresponding access code). This bridge number can be an IBM-provided bridge number.
You are not required to have an audio bridge device of your own.
