Application Sharing All releases Firefox; Internet Explorer

Q. How can I turn off the annotation tools used during application sharing in Sametime Unyte?
A. During application sharing the annotations tool icons do not act as a toggle to turn the controls On and Off in Unyte Meeting.
Once the annotation tools are enabled, the correct procedure to turn them off is to use the Eraser tool icon:

-Clicking on the Eraser tool icon once, will erase the annotations in the current application sharing session.
-Clicking the tool a second time will turn off the annotation tool.

Q. When using application sharing in Unyte Meeting is it possible to get a full screen of the web browser?
A. Use the F11 key on your keyboard to switch to the browsers full screen mode.

Q. As Host/Moderator why am I sometimes unable to Right Click on my roster and give Remote Control Access to a participant?
A. The host/Moderator can not pass control while they are currently using application sharing. Turn off application sharing before passing control.

Q. What do each of the three application sharing video quality settings mean?
A. Best Speed: For non-graphical content ( Word documents for example ), loseless zlib compression is used produce good quality. Graphical content will use lossy JPG compression that will produce medium quality results. Bandwidth consumption will be lower.
High Quality: For non-graphical content ( Word documents for example ), loseless zlib compression is used produce excellent quality. Graphical content will use lossy JPG compression that will produce good quality results. Bandwidth consumption will be higher.
Auto: This setting intelligently determines the average response time for participants in the conference and adjust the quality setting between Best Speed and High Quality to optimize speed and quality to participants during application sharing
