Chat? letting someone else show their screen?

How To/Getting Started All releases Internet Explorer
Someone held a meeting at my compnay using the web conference. It worked well and I tried it to run another meeting with 5 other people in it. I wanted to go through a presentation and get input. We could get two features I KNOW we used in the meeting I attended before.
1. While I could see who else was in the meeting in the right side Chat window, everyone else in the meeting could not...why? I looked through the Help but didn't see ANYTHING related to chat at all....I know we used it in the meeting I was in. How can I make so others see people in the chat window?
2. I wanted to let someone else demo something for us in the meeting, in the other meeting I know someone let me take over the presentation for a portion of the meeting...a prompt came up on my screen...again I can find this nowhere in the menu...what am I missing? The Help again lists NOTHING about letting someone else also present during a meeting. Are these functions available? If so can someone tell me how, or if I'm dumb and it's in the Help please just show me where!
