I recently started a recording where the red "recording" dot never appeared, but the GUI thought the recording was started, and only had the stop recording button enabled.
After the web conference I stopped the recording and it was stuck in the finishing state.
Two hours later I contacted support to see if it was possible to unstick my recording. They thought it would be, but a couple days later they responded that there was no data available at the recorder. Luckily I had a backup Camtasia recording.
My questions to the forum community are:
- Have you lost a recording? If so, how often?
- Has anyone made many recordings (maybe over 50?) and never lost the recording?
- Does anyone have any suggestions to help avoid a lost recording?
