Administrators: Previewing Lotus Sametime 8.5 for your users 

The Lotus Sametime 8.5 preview guide is available for you to distribute to your users for new installations and upgrades to Lotus Sametime. This guide is designed to help your users become productive on the new software quickly, and to provide them with links to documentation resources for further help.



The guide provides the following information for this release:

• Overview of several new features
• Important changes from the previous release
• Links to product tours, reference cards, and product help

Two files are available:

• A PDF file (http://www-10.lotus.com/ldd/stwiki.nsf/0/4BB3D792B074ED8E85257681006F6E9D/%24FILE/PreviewGuide_st_85.pdf), ready for e-mailing, printing, or distributing to your organization.
  

• A Lotus Symphony ODT file http://www-10.lotus.com/ldd/stwiki.nsf/0/4BB3D792B074ED8E85257681006F6E9D/%24FILE/PreviewGuide_st_85.odt) that can be customized for your organization. You can can add contact information for your Help Desk. The file includes instructions in blue text for customizing information – remember to remove the blue text instructions before rolling out the file to your organization. After you make changes to the ODT file, you can export it as a PDF using Lotus Symphony.

We suggest that you distribute the guide to your users before their new Lotus Sametime software is installed or updated.
