Recently, my sametime oftern response slowly or even stop working, and I also have found some colleagues also have these problems especially when they are chatting with more than 1 person at the same time.

Since ST is our company's instant chatting tool, I suggest an enhancing upgrade for sametime, then the coming user may not has these problems and can work more efficency and quickly.

The method is adjusting the ST VM's default "-Xms16M" to
more memory. Nowaday, our company's computers are having at least of 512MB memory, so extend this variable to about 32M would be not a big problem for most of our colleagues' computer. I have changed it in my computer and these days my sametime doesn't seem to be an old man to slowly respond and can especially quickly start up.

Upgrading this change is a good way to share this ST experience with more of our colleagues.

For the already users, if you don't know, you can reach me at bi943465-AT-jp.ibm-DOT-com or search my bluepage's name:lin jia xin. I will try to help you as soon as possible.
