This graph tells you information about registrations.
The x-axis indicates the time when the call occurred in a selected time interval.
The y-axis shows counts of Active and New Registrations. The count is an absolute value and summed over a predefined time interval (default = 15 minutes)
Sum of all endpoints that are currently registered. It is the sum of all endpoints whose current time is between endpoint's last_register_time and next_register_time_due.
Sum of SIP_Register messages received. It includes new registrations and re-registrations.
Sum all registration requests that failed.
What to look for:
A drop in active registrations or new registrations:Note:
This may indicate a network or gateway failure that prevents endpoints from registering.
A peak of new registrations:
This may indicate a gateway returning from standalone where all endpoints register at the same time.
Increasing or decreasing registrations are not necessarily a failure indication.
It could be that a majority of phones de-register or register during lunch time, night or weekend.
Registration Failures and/or increase of registration failures:
During registration flooding it is ok that registration attempts are rejected.
Notice that in an established system and if endpoints are configured to re-register after one hour, the active registrations are usually 4 times higher than the new registrations (60 minutes / 15 minutes).
