This procedure describes how to add/edit traffic types at the system wide level Traffic Types are used in Classes of Restrictions. Note that only Generic Traffic Types can be created.

- Navigate to Telephony Control Server -> Global Translation and Routing -> Translation
- Select Traffic Types
The Traffic Types dialog opens, displaying the existing traffic types. Initially there are seven Traffic Types.
- Click Add to add a new traffic type or click Edit in order to edit an existing traffic type.
The Add/Edit Traffic Types dialog is displayed.
- Enter/Change the Name of the traffic type using descriptive names. This parameter is required when creating a traffic type. Traffic type names must be unique and can be 1- 32 alphanumericc characters long (including the space character). Special characters are not allowed in the Name field.
An administrator is allowed to change the name or the traffic type settings when editing a traffic type. The uniqueness requirements for the name are the same as when adding a new traffic type. A name change will be automatically populated throughout the system for all services using the particular traffic type.
- Click Save.
