The TM server's IP address should be added to the Snort whitelist to prevent the triggering of Denial-Of-Service handling when transferring data.

- Open the RTP CLI menu by typing "StartCli" from srx >startCli.
- Login as sysad.
- Navigate through menu sequence: Application-level Management(6) -> Softswitch Management(1) -> Softswitch Information(1) -> Denial of Service Management( see Note1 below for corresponding value ) -> Denial of Service Trusted Hosts Mgmt(2) -> Assign a Trusted Host(1)
- Set the value:
Trusted Host IP Address: TM server IP address (nnn.nnn.nnn.nnn format) (Note: )
Only IPV4 addresses are supported for trace file exporting.
- The "Denial of Service Management" value is different for Telephony Control Server and 8.5.
For Telephony Control Server 8.0 the value is "7": Denial of Service Management (7)
For Telephony Control Server 8.5 the value is "6": Denial of Service Management (6).
The above procedure needs to be repeated on each node if the Lotus Sametime Unified Telephony system is configured as duplex for load balancing.
