The values indicated in these fields are read directly by the TM processes, so when changing a physical path, any back slash "\" needs to be prefixed with a forward slash "/" (i.e.: C:/\temp
) or instead of using a back slash use a forward slash (i.e.: C:/temp/

Login to Trace Management Portal (FADE) was successfully done

- In FADE navigate to Administration -> TM_System_Configuration.
- Select tab Other.
- Go to CustomerName.
Note: Defaults to the machine's name, but can be set to the Customer name. This name will be used when FTPing or e-mailing trace files to indicate which customer they originated from.
- Go to Temporary Folder.
c:/Temp/ - Temporary staging area for background processes.
- Go to Fade Install Directory.
Note: C:/webdata/fade - directory where FADE is installed.
- Go to Dat Install Dir.
Note: C:/Tracedata - directory where tracedata is stored.
- Go to Rows per Page.
This sets the default value for the number of records to display when a filter or query is run. This parameter only affects the configuration for the current system you are logged into.
- Go to Allow Remote Access.
Yes / No - enables or disables remote access through the FADE Web interface.
- Go to System Status.
Active / Suspended – Indicates the “status” of the current system.
Active: all incoming trace data files in the Tracedata\<system> will be processed and aging is enabled.
Suspended: system is in stand by mode. New traces transferred to Tracedata\<system> are not being processed by DIPAZ and aging is deactivated.
- Make your settings.
- Click Save.
