Before you can upgrade an application, you need to upload the files of the required upgrade file package to the Software Repository.
If you wish to upload the files of several upgrade file packages to the Software Repository, you need to execute the described steps for each single upgrade file package.
- On the Operation & Maintenance navigation tab click on the Configuration & Monitoring navigation menu item.
- In the navigation tree, click on Software -> Repository.
A list of all upgrade file packages stored in the Software Repository is displayed in the work area.
- Click on Add.
A dialog for uploading files opens.
- Specify one of the following information items for the upgrade file package to be uploaded.
A ZIP file that contains the upgrade files as well as the reference file of the relevant upgrade file package.
The upgrade files and the reference file (*.spa) of the relevant upgrade file package.
- When the files are completely uploaded, click on Save.
If an uploaded file is invalid, an error message informs you accordingly. The upgrade file package concerned will not be stored in the Software Repository in this case.
If an uploaded upgrade file package assumes further upgrade files, you are prompted to upload these upgrade files to the Software Repository also.
The files of the upgrade file package are stored in the Software Repository. The upgrade file package is displayed in the list of stored upgrade file packages.
