The service objects configuration provides the point from which you can configure event log settings and enable virus scanning. In addition, you can define data locations and schedule tasks for the Acme Packet Net-Net OS-E and Net-Net 2600 (formerly Covergence CXC-354).

virus-scan (use only if you want the Net-Net to scan file transfers between IM Clients)
database (not likely ; use only if you want to use an server external to the Net-Net for database)
instrument (not used, the instrumentation settings are for debugging and are intended for technical support only)
data-locations (not likely; use only if you want to manage and specify directories other than the default "/cxc_common" for RTP media recording and playback, file transfer records and log files)
storage-device (use only if you want to set settings for disk space limits, threshold warning and write over )
tasks (use only if you want to schedule archiving and maintenance)
