The Media server RadiSys Convedia CMS-3000 is configured via its own management interface, which can be accessed via the Telephony Control Server Assistant. Its proprietary software is the only application executed by the hardware.
If you use Telephony Application Server and deploy the Media server RadiSys Convedia CMS-3000, you require an additional Media Server for Telephony Application Server. Telephony Control Server can use one of the two Media servers or both, whereas Telephony Application Server always uses the Media Server.
