Userid and password for the Telephony Control Server to TM trace file copy are stored on the Telephony Control Server disk and only readable by the administrator.
The password for the Lotus Sametime Unified Telephony Maintenance Server FTP/SFTP is not shown by default when typed in at the OP-RTT screen. The FTP/SFTP mtc server password held on the Telephony Control Server is encrypted.
The installation/setup guide (i.e. the Administrator Guide) for the continuous trace describes how to setup an IPSEC connection between Telephony Control Server and mtc server for the FTP/SFTP transport of the trace files.
The TM trace analyzer and filter software only runs locally on a maintenance server and is secured by the Windows userid and PW.
