Partition the physical hard disk that will function as a SAN (Storage Area Network) for the virtual deployment.
About this task
Assume you have set up two virtual machines to serve as Telephony Application Servers (call them "VM_TAS1" and "VM_TAS2"), and have created a shared disk to serve as a virtual SAN as explained in Setting up hardware for a virtual Storage Area Network
To partition the disk, log into VM_TAS1 or VM_TAS2 and create two partitions.
These partitions will be used by the /enterprise
directories in your SAMP policy.
You can use the yast
command to partition the disk. The partitions should be created following the specifications for the physical SAN described in Setting up a physical SAN
. The yast partitioner will add these new partitions to /etc/fstab
