For Lotus Sametime Unified Telephony , Continuous Tracing is controlled via the Real Time Trace Management GUI installed on the TM server.
When configuring tracing after a TM fresh installation or upgrade, it is necessary to update the RTT Trace Management Tool to the latest version first.
Additionally, ActivePerl needs to be installed on the server for RTT Trace Management to work.
If TM detects that Active Perl is not installed, the following message is displayed.

Checking for ActivePerl...
INFO: ActivePerl does not seem to be installed.
Make sure it installed.
