A HG (Hunt Group) can be configured to allow or deny Subscriber Rerouting to take place for its members. If it is allowed, Subscriber Rerouting takes precedence over the HG distribution logic, otherwise only the HG distribution logic is applied.
If the HG is provisioned to allow Subscriber Rerouting, the Subscriber Rerouting will only take place for members that are provisioned for Subscriber Rerouting.
If a HG is provisioned for Subscriber Rerouting, Subscriber Rerouting will be attempted because of WAN failure or CAC (Call Admission Control) restriction before advancing to the next member. In case the reroute fails or the rerouted call is not answered within a specified period, normal advancement to the next member will take place.
If the HG is not provisioned for Subscriber Rerouting, Subscriber Rerouting will not be attempted - even for HG members that are provisioned for Subscriber rerouting.
The global allowance/denial of Subscriber Rerouting is not possible for HGs provisioned for Manual mode.
Subscriber rerouting of CSTA (Computer Supported Telecommunications Applications) deflected calls will not be attempted for calls deflected from a MLHG queue because of WAN failure or CAC restriction even if the call is deflected to a Subscriber that is provisioned for Subscriber rerouting.
