Table 1. New Meeting Room dialog
|Room Name||Enter a name for the meeting room.|
|Voice and Video||Specify the voice and video capability of this room by pressing the gray Detail disclosure icon for this setting. This will display a list of service providers for voice and video as well as an entry field for free form call-in information. If there are no Voice and Video service providers then the setting will default to Unspecified, and the room will not have Voice and Video capability. The Call-in information will default to My Conference Number and My participant passcode from the settings.|
Note: Some service providers, such as Connections Audio/Video Conferencing, may be provisioned with multiple virtual conference rooms that are optimized differently. If this is the case, selecting the service provider will display the available conference rooms for your selection.
|Password protect room||Check this option if the room will be password protected, then enter and confirm a room password.|
Note: Your administrator may require that all rooms be password protected. If this is the case, this setting will be checked and you will be forced to enter a room password.
|Hidden room||Check this option if the room should be hidden. Hidden meeting rooms do not display in search results, and are only accessible by invitation.|
|Managed access||Check this option if the room should have managed access. Users cannot join managed rooms until the room owner or manager has joined.|
The new room will display in your My Room view. You can favorite rooms by selecting the star icon to the left of their name.
Guest users cannot create meeting rooms. This means if you set yourself as a guest when you configured the server, you will not have the authority to create rooms on that server.
