|If the functionality is supported by your organization, room owners and managers using Sametime from desktop can grant other meeting participants permission to take remote control of their computer, allowing them to work with their files and desktop.
With Sametime Mobile Meetings, you can use this remote control functionality from your mobile device, if granted to you. If you are a mobile user, you cannot allow meeting participants to control your device. Only the desktop version of Sametime (rich client and browser client) allows for the remote control of a user's computer.
To accept and use remote control sharing, perform the following procedure:

- When a room owner or manager offers you control of their screen, a dialog displays offering you the choice to accept or reject the control. To accept, press Accept Control. To reject it, press Reject.
- When you accept control of the user's screen, new icons will appear in the bottom footer bar:
These icons perform the following functions:

|Release control||Give up control of the screen, and return it to the user.|
|Hide/show keyboard||Hide or show the keyboard on your device.|
|Help||Display screen help for remote control functions on your device, if not visible.|
|Raise hand||Raise your hand in the meeting.|
- From the device, you can perform the following actions while controlling another user's screen:

|Long press a desktop object, move your finger, then release||Drag and drop a desktop object|

- To end remote control of the user's screen, press the Release Control icon.
