The Browser Filtering permission enables the application to register to receive control from a URL link to a meeting room server.
During the initial start, after completing installation, the IBMLotusHttpFilter component of the Sametime Mobile Meeting for the BlackBerry client may prompt you with a request a change the application control permissions. The Browser Filtering permission enables the application to register to receive control from a URL link to a meeting room server. For example, if you attempt to join a Sametime Meeting using a URL from a calendar entry, rather than opening a browser, the Sametime Mobile Meetings client is brought to the foreground and the room joined.
The same permission request is made the first time a Sametime Meetings server is configured. In this case, the request is made by the BlackBerrySametimeMeetings component rather than the IBMLotusHttpFilter component.
Setting the permission control differs by Blackberry operating system (OS).
