When you are a meeting participant, there are different options for calling into a meeting, depending on the call capabilities available to you. No one else can join the call until the meeting room owner or manager has started the call.
You might be able to join the call for a meeting from within the meeting room where the meeting takes place.
In the Voice and Video
area of the meeting room, select an option, depending on the call capabilities available to you.
- Click Show call-in information to see the telephone number and passcode, if available, to call in manually to the meeting room.
- Click and then click Join with my computer to join the audio call using your computer. If video is available, the video starts as soon as you join the call. With this option, you cannot call in to the meeting using your telephone.
- Click and select to join the audio call using your computer, telephone, or video device (if video is available to them). With this option, call control options are also available in the meeting room for both the meeting room managers and participants.
Depending on the call option you selected, your telephone rings, your computer connects to the call, or call-in information displays.
If no call-information was specified under the Voice and Video area of a meeting room, you will need to consult the meeting invitation or contact the meeting room owner for that information. In this case, calling from within the meeting room will not be available to you. You will need to call in manually using a telephone.
