Hey,
I have a non product-related issue, so, it's a more theoretical one.
Where can I find literature (articles, PDFs, etc.) on the issue how synchronous collabortaion can be integrated into workflow management systems ?
E.g. if people are working on and in the end checking in (committing) documents within a workflow process and when moreover several people should be able to work together(collaboration) on one specific document at the same time (synchronous) - how can this be realized ?
Which theoretic models are available ? Design architectures etc. ?
What about transaction design etc. ?
What happens when people cancel processing and others are still working on the document ? What happens if the "owner" checks in the document while others have not finished their task etc. etc. ?
Or does anyone know another forum where I could ask such questions ?
