Hi,
I am facing a wierd probem in workflow. Whenever a main document is created, the job is not getting initiated for this document. But whenever I create a replica the job is created for these documents present in the database.
The following are the things that I tried out on the databases:
1. Recompiled all lotus script restarted the server but the issue still persisted.
2. Ran COMPACT task but stopped it after 30 mins since it was too long. (The database size currently is 350 MB)
3. After the failure of compact we created a replica of the database and restarted the server which resolved the issue and we could see cover documents for all unprocessed documents in application.
4. New documents were again sent to the application database to verify if after the creation of replica, the issue has been resolved. But unfortunately the OS backgrounder though ran successfully, was not able to create the binder documents.
We feel that on creating a new replica of the database, the OS backgrounder works fine for the existing documents which are without binder/cover but fails to recognize the newly created documents.
5. We again created a new replica of the database and restarted the server, and then the binders were created.
6. New faxes were sent to the mailin database, polling agent created documents into the database and then since the cover docs were not created we ONLY restarted the server this time without creating a replica. However restarting the domino server did not resolve the issue.
7. Reboot of the entire server was then performed, but still the issue existed.
8. We then ran a FIXUP, UPDALL, COMPACT task on application, mailin and mail.box databases, but the issue was not resolved.
9. OS domino Workflow backgrounder and OS TimeManagement Backgrounder agents were copied from the backup application database and replaced into the application database to rule out the possibility of its corruption.
10. Database Full text index was recreated, but the issue still persisted.
The issue still persists......
