I posted this question a while ago, but no replies. Sorry for polluting this forum ;-)
I am trying to fill the gaps in my knowledge about LWF and this is one of them.
I have a question about LWF and I can't get it working nor understand the meaning of it.
The functionality that I want is that if a job is routed to a whole department, and one of those members claims it, the other members can't edit/read the document anymore.
So, I searched in the Process Designer's Guide and voila, a checkbox should be unchecked. Namely "Potential activity owners become readers". And I quote: "...to uncheck if you want the remaining potential activity owners to lose reader access when one of them claims the activity".
But it doesn't work! I see the participants changing from the whole list of the department to just one member, but if I check with another ID, I can still edit and see the job in My Activities.
I would really like to understand this!
