I have imported some java code as java design elements. This code has package "com."
I have imported the package using importPackage

But when I try to initialize the class using new and the full path to the class I get the error.

Anybody got a clue way could be wrong?

I got a similar issue in an NSF when trying to add in java files, turns out my issue was the .classpath file (found in package view) didn't include  "<classpathentry kind="src" path="WebContent/WEB-INF/src"/>"

This could possibly be your issue
