Supplement to (Solution (somewhat inelegant) to Tab Order problem in Notes) Kevin Pettitt 7.Mar.04 03:50 PM a Web browser Domino Designer -- Forms All ReleasesWindows 2000, Windows 95/98, Windows NT
This is exactly the approach I came up with, but I was still hoping to find a more elegant way to do it since I have several hotspots and it gets a bit ugly with that many extra fields flying around.
A few related tips:
- You can use this approach in reverse to take care of the "shift-tab" situation. Essentially, you would put an invisible (as opposed to "hidden") editable field on *BOTH* sides of a hotspot, so if the user tabs or shift-tabs, these fields will catch that and act accordingly, moving forward or back as needed.
- Use @Deletefield in the Input Translation event of these "skip" fields, so you don't have a bunch of junk fields cluttering up the saved document
