You can choose to display only unread messages in folders or views in Notes mail. Follow these steps:

In standard Notes

Click Show above the message list, and then click Unread Only.


To display the read messages again, click Show > Unread Only again.

Note: Notes saves this setting for the folder or view, so if you leave and come back to it, only unread messages are displayed.

In basic Notes

Select View > Unread above the message list.

To display the read messages again, select View All.
