The Widgets and Live Text feature may have earlier been referred to as My Widgets.
There are new Domino policy settings introduced in 8.0.1, and Notes plugin_customization.ini file settings, regarding control of Notes user access to the Widgets and Live Text functionality and central widget catalog. See these topics in the Domino Administrator Help infocenter for details:
