Explanation:

Reports HTTP SSL handshake errors to the console and LOG.NSF. You may want to set this by default, since it only reports errors.

Values 1 (on) and 0 (off)

this is a R5 debug parameter, which still exists in 6

There ia another new NOTES.INI settings that allow administrators to troubleshoot HTTP connections using SSL.

TraceSSLHandshake=1

This allows you to follow the handshake details on the console and in LOG.NSF to better pinpoint errors.

Settings for troubleshooting, you may want to set this notes.ini parameter by default to the value 1 as it will only report errornous situations, and usually this is neat and handy when searching for errors.

Applies to:

Servers

Default Value:

None

UI equivalent:

None, although you can specify this setting in the NOTES.INI Settings tab of the Configuration Settings document in the Domino Directory.

Syntax:

ReportSSLHandshakeErrors=0 / 1

Available since:

Lotus Notes/Domino 5

Obsolete since:

Lotus Notes/Domino x.x.x
