I'm sorry to bug you. Can you confirm one step please. Must the sametime console software be installed on the gateway? So far, every instance of gateway installation is failing at the same point ... after startserver and registration on the "central" SSC, the SSC cannot talk to the gateway for configuration, although it is showing all the expected options. The documentation doesn't explicitly say to install console, but there is a line in the "start Gateway" doc (http://www-01.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SSKTXQ_9.0.0/admin/install/gw802/i_rtc_t_install_startingrtcgateway.html
) that says to log into the console as admin. But without having console installed on the gateway, this makes no sense. Am I missing this point?
